Lethbridge to Glacier NP. 07-30-14

Okay, it looks like I totally screwed up the chronology of these last several posts. I hope you can figure it out.

After saying our goodbyes to Suzanne and Roy we headed south on Canada 4 and crossed the border at Coutts, Alberta.

We continued south to Shelby, MT.
After filling the gas tank on Plan B, we headed west through the foothills of the Rockies

and then into the mountains.

We followed the middle fork of the Flathead River.

until we came to Glacier NP.

We got a spot at the Apgar CG in the park because it only cost $10.00 and I was ready to stop traveling for the day.

The weather became very hot and humid.

We went to have dinner at the West Glacier Restaurant but they had  a very inadequate AC system and it was sweltering inside. We sat down at a table but decided to go to another restaurant on Hwy 2 where the AC was working.

I had Buffalo meatloaf and Patti had a Chicken Caesar salad.

When we got back to the RV it was a little cooler with a slight breeze and a few thunder showers in the evening.

Still no communication with the outside world.
