Suzanne and Roy arrived Thursday around 2:00.
They are staying at the fairgrounds RV park.
We went over and picked them up and took them for a small
tour of the Santa Rosa’s McDonald Mansion district.
They were impressed with all the old Victorian homes.
After the tour, we took them to El Charro Mexican restaurant
and had a great meal.
After dinner we went to their RV and played cards for a
couple of hours.
Today (Friday) we took Suzanne and Roy to the Charles Shultz
Museum and Ice Arena.
I was unaware that Suzanne is a major Peanuts fan so
this was the perfect thing to do with her.
Here are a few pictures from the museum.
This mural is composed of hundreds of Peanuts cartoon strips
on ceramic tiles.
Here is Snoopy as the Red Baron in his Sopwith Camel hanging from
the ceiling of the gift shop.
This Charley Brown is covered in glass tiles.
That’s Roy in the background.
We had lunch at the “Warm Puppy Café”.
It was a good tour and we had a lot of fun.
We went to Applebee's for dinner and hung out at our house visiting.
Today we are going to take Suzanne and Roy for a ride to the coast.
