Today I replaced the front drive shaft on the jeep. The new shaft is much stronger than the original. I also removed the two inch spacers and lifted the skid plate back to its original position.
Now the jeep actually has a two inch lift.
Of course that caused some unintended consequences in the form of a rattle. I think the rattle is the exhaust system hitting against the frame or something else under the jeep.
I will check that out tomorrow.
The new exhaust manifold arrived while I was having lunch.
I’m still waiting for the new valve cover to arrive.
Once that is installed it should solve some of the oil leaks.
