The last couple of days, we have been waiting for the big rain storm that has been hitting the west coast to move across the Colorado River.
Friday was very cloudy and we had a couple of sprinkles.
On Saturday it finally began to rain but the rain was sporadic through out the day. I doubt that we got more than a tenth of an inch here in Quartzsite. It was a disappointing storm. It may have dampened the ground enough to settle the dust for a day but not enough to have any runoff.
The sun is out today and we are going to take a ride to the horse tanks in the KOFA preserve to see if the rain might have filled the pools down there.
I am ready for a ride anywhere.
