Friday morning around 8:30, we left Quartzsite and drove east on
I-10 to Vicksburg Road where we stopped at the ZIP station and topped of the fuel tank and the Propane.
From there we headed north on Vicksburg Rd to Highway 60 and then turned east.
We stayed on 60 to Wickenburg then south to Morristown where we turned east onto highway 74. We followed 74 to I-17.
Along the way a truck went buy us going the opposite direction. It kicked up a rock and the rock hit our windshield in the lower right hand corner on the passenger side.
GRRRR!! That really chaps my hide!!
We saw lots of Saguaro's along the highway.
When we got to I-17 we headed north.
At Flagstaff, AZ we got onto Hwy 89 North.
There is still a little snow on the higher peaks north of Flagstaff.
We arrived in Cameron around 3:00. Here we stopped for the night. The highway crosses a neat gorge at Cameron.
We had dinner at the Trading Post.
Patti had a grilled chicken sandwich, I had a Navaho Burger, (A burger on a fry bread bun) it was quite good.
