Day at the Movies

WTF

Patti has been wanting to go to see the movie "Whiskey Tango Foxtrot" staring Tina Fey.

I figured that it was a chick flick and wasn't to interested but we didn't have anything else to do so we went to Casa Grande to see the film.

Now, Whiskey Tango Foxtrot is not a movie about drinking and ballroom dancing.
in the military phonetic alphabet, Whiskey Tango Foxtrot = W T F.

As I said I was expecting a chick flick but was surprised to find that it was much, much more.
It was the story of a woman war correspondent in a shit hole called Afghanistan from 2003 to 2006.
I won't tell you anything else about the movie except to say it was excellent and you should give it a look.

After the movie.  

After the movie we went to visit Sue and Denis. They are staying at an RV park just east of Casa Grande.
We visited with them for a couple hours and then went to dinner at a place Called Mimi's Café in Casa Grande. The food was good the prices were a little more than what we normally spend but not to bad.
