It was another beautiful day in Quartzsite. The temperature got up to the high 70's or maybe even the low 80's.
We didn't take any rides except to go to the "Readers Oasis" to exchange some books for new ones pluss about $30. Now we are good for a couple of weeks reading meterial.
I decided that it is getting warm enough to take the top off the jeep so this afternoon we took it off and put on the "Bikini top". We will see how well that works out the next time we get out on these dusty roads. We'll probably be choking and coughing up dust by the time we get home.
I think the highlight of the day was the arrival of the "Schwan's" truck.
All these old folks came streaming (all be it slowly) out of there RV's like kids rushing to the Ice cream vendor but with out the music box music, just a few toots of the horn.
Patti was right there with them and bought a box of very good chocolate covered mint ice cream bars. Yum!!
Ah! the simple pleasures of RV living. :o)
