Hi, we’re back from the cabin.
We had a real good time.
In the mornings we would spend about an hour or two cutting firewood.
I did the cutting,
Patti moved brush.
but there is still some to do.
Check out the fish in the woods.
Okay, if you haven’t figured it out, the fish is saw dust caught in a spider web.
The rest of the time we spent relaxing and reading.
I did some calking around the windows and puttered.
The weather was perfect with overnight lows in the 40’s and 50’s and daytime highs in the high 70’s and low 80’s.
We enjoyed watching the porch dragons scampering around on the porch.
The morning glories are starting to bloom in the planter.
Joanne and Dave came up on Sunday around noon.
We spent the rest of the day visiting with them. They spent the night in their lodge.
Monday morning we all went down to the creek to check it out.
A large limb had fallen in one of the camp spots so we cleaned it up.
We walked to the creek.
Patti took some flower pictures.
Here is a thistle getting ready to bloom.
We saw a Garter Snake swimming across the creek
and a lot of pollywogs.
We sat around in the grove for a while, until the mosquito’s ran us off.
Joanne and Dave left in the afternoon.
Patti and I left Tuesday around noon.
Another great trip to the cabin.
