We were so wiped out from all the rides we have been taking that we took yesterday off and had planned to take today off as well.
We went out for breakfast at the Pancake Haus.
After breakfast we stopped by a hair cutting salon so Patti could make an appointment to get a hair cut.
It was before 10:00 and the place was closed so we went back to the RV.
A little after 10:00 Patti called the salon and got an appointment for 12:30.
About 12:15 we went back to town and I dropped Patti off at the salon.
From there I took the jeep to the coin-op car wash to wash the engine and clean off some of the oil and dirt that has been accumulating underneath from the leaking Transfer case seal.
We went back to the RV and just hung out for the rest of the day.
Around 3:00 the land lord came by and said that they were going to be spraying the trees on Thursday so if we wanted to move to another spot we could.
Moving to another spot is a pain so I decided that we would just take a ride today to get out of the way.
They aren’t going to start spraying until around 10:00 so we will leave for our ride around 9:00.
The plan is to take a trail called “Top of the World”.
it is rated “difficult” so we will approach it the same way we have done on other “difficult” trails.
We will go as far as we can and if it gets too bad we will turn around.
The weather today is supposed to be in the high 90’s.
It is getting too hot here so we are looking forward to leaving on Sunday.
We had planned to go to the Intersection of 191 and
I-70 where we were going to park the RV and take the Book Cliffs, Sego Canyon Trail but now we are going head farther north. We will probably go as far as Manti where we plan to spend two nights and take a ride in the National forest there.
