Today was another beautiful day.
Patti and I decided to do some more exploring east of "Q" so we drove out Sunkist road and turned east at the second intersection onto an ATV trail.
We followed the trail for a long time It was narrow and very rocky. We bounced along toward the east.

When we reached a track going north/south. We followed it north and found a few trails going into the hills, most of which turned out to be dead ends and were very narrow and rocky.

When we reached the end of the third or fourth trail, we realised that we had been here a couple of weeks ago.
We recognized a fat headed Saguaro with many arms and the rocky canyon.

As we drove along we saw on a ridge, two arches or at least holes through the rocks. There are many more arches in this area than one would expect.

We followed one trail to a high point where we could see the road winding away into the distance. After checking the map I could see that the road wandered around the hills and came out near Plomosa road.
I am not sure if we can go all the way around in the jeep because on the map it shows that one stretch might be a hiking trail.
As it was getting late, we decided to leave that trail for another day.
We turned around, headed back to the north/south track and turned north toward Plomosa road.
We got home around 4:30, tired and satisfied with another good day of exploring.
