First I have to make a correction. In yesterdays blog I mentioned that we were going to the Riverside County Fair. Well that was wrong. We went to the Colorado River Fair in Blythe. A much smaller venue.

They had carnival rides

and livestock pens.

An FFA auction,

Tractor displays,

A shark tank that one of the exhibitors climbed into.

Of course there was fair food.

They also had the stock car races that were free with with the fair entry. My favorites were the little kids driving little cars with 5hp B&S engines. They look and sound like the big guys and go like hell.

Another favorite of mine are the “Legend Cars”. They are small and look like thirties and forty's coops but are made of fiberglass and are bowered by motorcycle engines and also hall ass.

Here is a video I took during the practice runs.

We watched the races until about 9:30 and headed for home.

We didn’t leave for the fair until around 4:30. In the morning while I was sitting in the back yard I got some pictures of these bathing beauties.
