Doing Chores.
It was wash day and house work day.
Patti took a load of laundry over to our friend Donna’s.
Donna has a washer and dryer and is always telling Patti that she could use her W&D whenever she wants. Since it was only a small load she decided to try it.
She left around 11:00 and got back around 2:00. It took her longer to do one load at Donna’s than it takes her to do three loads at the laundromat. I think there was a lot more visiting than laundering.
House Work
While Patti was doing the laundry, I did some house work.
Dick left a vacuum cleaner in the trailer so I gave it a try. I think we need to buy a better vacuum, this one barely works at all.
Hooking up the Motorhome.
After the house work was done I decided to hook the motorhome to water and sewerage. It took a little time to get the water hooked up as one of the hoses would not stop leaking. I replaced all the washers but that didn’t work so I tried another hose with new washers and that worked.
Now the motorhome is ready for guests.
Heading for Laughlin, Nevada.
We are going up to Laughlin, Nevada today (Monday).
We got a real good deal on rooms at the Aquarius Hotel Casino, two nights for $50.
Sue and Denis are also going to Laughlin for the same period and we will do some jeeping with them.
We are leaving here around 12:00 as we can’t check in before 3:00.
