The Final Leg.
An Easy Drive.
We left Sparks, NV around 8:00. The morning commute was almost over so the Reno traffic was not to bad.
Once we started climbing the Sierras the traffic really thinned out and we almost had the highway to ourselves.
We made good time coming down the west side of the mountains and got through Sacramento before the lunch time traffic.
The only place that was a little congested was around Fairfield but it is always a mess there. We get off the freeway and onto Highway 12 just west of Fairfield so that wasn’t bad either.
We got home around 12:30. Not bad only four and a half hours from Sparks to our front door.
What a Trip.
The whole trip was awesome! We had a great time but I am a bit tired of driving right now.
We will be home for a week then we are going for another short trip.
